From the Drops Page, then click Create
then Hybrid Drop
on the top right, which will navigate you to start the creation flow.
NFTs belong to a Collection which designates how the NFTs are grouped in places like Wallets and marketplaces. Hybrid drops require you to create a new collection and token, you cannot use an existing collection or token.
Input the Image, Name, and Description that will be used for both the token and NFT collection metadata. Token Symbol / Ticker will only be used on the token
If you want a different image, name, and description for your token and NFT collection, input your desired token details here then use our Update Collection utility to update your NFT collection specific details after your drop is created.
With Hybrid Drops, the number of NFTs in your collection will directly impact the price per mint on the bonding curve since the total SOL generated is always the same regardless of supply (100 SOL + Creator Reward).
For example, if you have 2,500 NFTs, the price of the last NFT on the curve (maximum price) will be around 0.16 SOL. If you have 10,000 NFTs, the price of the last NFT on the curve will be around 0.04 SOL.
We recommend collections with a supply between 2,500 and 15,000 for Hybrid Drops to ensure that NFT price is reasonable given the bonding graduation goal of 100 SOL.
Next, you should upload your assets:
Add Images - Upload all of your images by either selecting a folder which contains the images or dragging and dropping.
Add Metadata - Upload all your metadata by selecting a folder containing the metadata files (.json) or dragging and dropping.
(Optional) Add video, audio, or 3D files - If you are using non-image assets in your NFTs, you can upload all your assets after uploading the primary image (required) and metadata for your NFTs.
Upload - Click the upload button, and the files will be uploaded to Irys for permanent storage which incurs a fee paid directly to Irys.
By default, our platform only allows you to add one image, or one image and a non-image media asset like audio, video, or 3D files, when you create your NFTs. If you would like to add more than one image to your NFTs, please reach out to us on Discord for support!
Uploading assets can take some time, especially if you have many or large assets. Please do not refresh the page or change your wallet or your storage fees may be lost.
NFTs are constructed with several bits of information. The assets we need for each NFT are an image and a Metadata JSON, which holds the main details of the NFT.
Several tools can help create these assets, like nftexport.io or Hashlips. You can find some examples of NFT assets here.
Both the images and JSON files must be numbers from 0 to X (With X being the number of items you want in your Collection). The image 0.png
must have its corresponding JSON file 0.json
.
Now that your assets have been uploaded it's time to input your hybrid drop settings.
Creator reward - This is a reward you can set for yourself between 0 and 100 SOL that gets paid to your treasury wallet upon successful bonding curve completion. This setting does not change final token price or liquidity pool reserves post-migration.
Treasury wallet address - This is where the creator reward (if set) is sent.
Creator reward will dynamically change the shape of the bonding curve to be flatter, which increases the price of tokens/NFTs in the middle of the curve. Setting this too high may make project bonding curve graduation harder to achieve.
The Royalty fee percentage is how much you'd like to receive from secondary sales of your NFTs. Royalties do not apply to tokens.
You can split the secondary sale royalties with up to 10 wallets. By default, your wallet will be chosen as the update authority and allocated 100% of the royalties. Here you have several options:
Clicking this button will create a new row where you will need to input:
Creator Address - the wallet address of the creator you are adding
Royalty Splits - % of the royalties you want the new creator to have
Once you are on this step, check all the details of your Hybrid Drop and click Create
to publish your Hybrid Drop. A modal will then appear with the steps of the actions that need to happen. You will have a couple of transactions to approve during this process. Please monitor your wallet and approve transactions as they come in.
Hybrids Drops cannot be edited or deleted once created. Ensure all details are correct before clicking Create.
Once the drop is created, it's time to customize and launch your Mint Page.
